Kenneth's Letter

"I was concerned about ISRs. So my pharmacist said he would look into getting me some additional help and support.
The next day I got a call from Carley, a FUZEON Nurse Educator, and we made an appointment for her to see my partner and me at our home the following day. After an informative talk about what we needed to know to feel comfortable and secure with how to give injections, she taught both of us how to mix and inject. Now my partner is also able to mix FUZEON and he can inject in the backs of my arms — areas that are hard for me to reach.
Since I started FUZEON, my very high viral low is now undetectable, my CD4 count is up over 200. I have a few ISRs, mainly on my thighs. But because Carley worked with both me and my partner, I can manage the reactions and I have more injection sites to use. And I know that if I have any questions, I can call her. Having a FUZEON Nurse Educator share pointers and walk me through everything personally made the difference between failure and success."
