Is FUZEON Right For You?

If you have a detectable viral load and have experienced treatment failure with previous drug regimens, FUZEON may be an option for you. FUZEON is taken two times a day as an injection under the skin, so you must be willing to self-inject.

To find out if FUZEON may be right for you, take the quick self-assessment below.

Self-Assessment: Four Factors
This self-assessment asks you about four factors relating to your health and treatment status. Results from the FUZEON clinical trials revealed that these four "prognostic" factors can help predict whether a person's viral load will be undetectable (less than 400 copies) at 48 weeks while taking a FUZEON-based drug regimen. It is important to note that each prognostic factor has a different level of significance in predicting treatment outcomes.

Please submit your answers to the following four questions for an immediate response. If you don't know the answer to one or more questions, or you're not sure, print this page and take it to your doctor.

  Yes No
1. Is your CD4 cell count more than 100?
2. Is your viral load less than 100,000?
3. Have you already used at least 5 but not more than 10 HIV medicines (nukes, non-nukes and PIs)?
4. Do you have two or more HIV treatment
options available that still work against HIV?
